Perfect Poet Award for Week 12 by Jingle http://jingleyanqiu.wordpress.com

Now I have completely lost my words. Ever since I read that one of my priceless friends has found me worthy of this award I have been smiling like a fool. Writing is my passion, my greatest joy so any recognition from anyone means a lot to me, to me it’s as pleasant as opening my window to see my plant is covered with the most gorgeous blooms.

Thanks again my priceless friends, all of you to make writing such a joy for me. God bless you all, now and forever.

and

one and only Jingle- for making Thursdays so much fun and joy for all of us.

Now my poem for this week’s Thursday Poet Rally:

I am just a woman

I am just a woman
Just a human being
Don’t imagine anything
But that for me.

I am not a Goddess
I am not perfect
I am not an angel
I have vices.

Just like you men
I too can fail
Make mistake
Or walk tall.

I too may be cold,
Cruel, vicious, selfish
Any thing which you can be
I too can be.

Don’t disillusion yourself
About me
I am just a human being
With light and darkness inside me.

And my nomination for this week: A wonderful poet, an awesome, fabulous artist and a good chef (I wish I could have the chance of tasting his cuisines) kseverny at (http://kseverny.wordpress.com/)

  1. Love this. 🙂

It shows at what standard some foolishly place a female on a pedestal. Some women do the same to a man.

But sometimes the focus is to much on the differences between men and woman.

  3. hmm… i can so relate.. i make mistakes too.. i made a lot of mistakes… but that’s because i am human, and i learned to be better because of my errors…

    • dear jingle,
yes i certainly will, and let you know after finishing up. yes, power cuts are driving me up the wall – we are facing more than seven to eight hours power cuts each day 😦

      with lots of affection,

  5. dearest gg,
if we treat human beings like human beings, then our own life becomes very non-complex.

we are not angels or devil. but both reside inside our heart, forever trying to overpower each other.

all we can do is support one of them-which one, well the choice is entirely ours.

    with lots of love.

    • thanks a lot emmanuel, in my country people think that women are Goddesses and expect them to act like Goddesses- which is very impractical in my eyes.

thanks for the wonderful compliment. it will stay in my heart always.

    • i cant open a few blogspot blogs in my connection (including my own) properly- yours, destinychild’s, jannie funster’s and ilovepink’s.

its been more than a week trying. sometimes yours open by fluke but others—- 😦

i will be trying your wordpress blog regularly.

      with lots of affection,

  8. Male or female, we are all in process. No! Fine poem. Heart spun by you. Heart felt by me . . . as for the writing life, it is the way to live hugely, to embrace life, to understand. Thanks for your poems. And isn’t Jingle awe-inspiring?
