Shubho Kalipuja and Happy Diwali!

This shot is from Bhootchaturdashi, candles at doors, now honestly I don’t wanna see a ghost in my rooms, so I humbly light the candles on Bhootchaturdashi dusks, always. 🙂

Did the same this year too, today is Kalipuja, Bengalis worship mother Goddess Kali, the destroyer of evil and sin, North Indians worship Mother Goddess Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth and celebrate the homecoming of Shri Ramchandra by decking up their homes with lights and bursting firecrackers. A habit that Bengalis have merrily absorbed from them, so Bengalis worship Mother Goddess Kali and decorate their homes with lights of all sort- candles, earthen lamps, bulbs… whatever they want and burst crackers, mostly the loud ones. ;p

North Indians too do all that and worship Mother Goddess Laxmi the Goddess of wealth.

So may both the Goddesses bless you and your world, today and forever.

Lots of love.
