Comments make us happy

Well, almost all of us love comments, because an appropriate comment means your toil was interesting to someone, enough interesting for him or her to be sweet enough to spare some time on your blog and write something nice (or not) on the post.

I always try to respond to comments, the main problems that I face while returning the comments are:
1. People don’t have their blog URL in their gravatar and they don’t put it manually in the comment.

2. Some of my friends have an official blog and a creative blog, and they very logically use their official blog URL in their gravatar but DON’T ADD THEIR CREATIVE BLOG URL IN THE COMMENT MANUALLY. Now, I am not a VIP but I have to be very cautious about my hours online, so I have to blindly depend on the comments to take me back to their owner’s blog, if they don’t I just have to skip them, with a sad heart and hope I will stumble upon their URL elsewhere and will remember that they were sweet enough to waste some time on my blog.

3. Some people have a URL in their gravatar but when I click that WordPress says “The blog does not exists.” These people often have incorrect URLs added to their gravatars.

4. Last but not least, some blogs just don’t open in my browser, may be my internet speed is slow, or something else blocks their opening but they don’t, and often they crash the explorer. So if a blog does that more than four or five times I stop visiting that blog.

We should always check out our own URLs to see whether they lead us back to our blogs or not, how? Post a comment, and then click the gravatar and see the URL it shows, click that URL and see if your blog opens or not. Next, go back to the comment and click your blog name, see if it takes you to your blog or not.

  1. Personally I try to answer all comments but I don’t think that every comment requires an answer. So when a difficulty pops up (like, for me, when using a phone that is being awkward or just too many comments) move on and don’t fret about it. It appears that somewhere and at some time in this blogosphere we always meet again. Hope my URL works right 😉

Please leave your blog URL/links with your comments if they are not included in your gravatar. If you don’t you will deprive me from one of my favourite things-returning your sweet gesture.
