Free soul 7.3.11

Quite a few of my friends don’t allow name/url option in their blogs, and they shower me with compliments I thank them for their one-sided support, (affection, appreciation is mutual) and eagerly wait the day when they will allow name/url option in their blogs. Some of them are: (his blog refuses to open- just like kavita’s blog)

Thanks again my dear friends.

The earlier poems are in the page above.

Today’s post is for:

Thursday Rally for Poets (which will be held once in every three weeks, and is being held this week 3rd to 9th March) @

golden fairy

I saw her pouting
A fragile golden winged being
Sun has woken her up
And reported a theft.

He said the roses have stolen
The ruby of her lips
Sky has stolen
Crystal blue from her eyes.

Sunflower and daisies
Committed the sin
Took away a tiny bit
Of her lock’s gold.

She sat there pouting first
Then she laughed out loud
Laughing like a nightingale
She flew back to moon.

botched plan

The sunrise was brilliant that morning.
Such an odd day for them to even think
a thing such macabre as was their plan
they quickly started the action
the car was parked at the right place
people coming in and out of the gate
were oblivious of their plan
they hid themselves in a distant lane
watched the car and pressed the button.
after a few moments of expectation,
the teenage rogue fumed,
“It did not worked!”
They never knew why it did not
but the smart shopkeeper supplied them,
a fake remote not worth a single dime.

A bookworm transformed into an addicted writer. I love to write and illustrate them myself. By love I mean love, no half-hearted relationship, a full-fledged, passionate love, I can’t pass two days in a stretch without writing/painting (cyber), just feel empty like lovers do when their lovers are away on a tour! Even though I am thoroughly enjoying self-publishing with amazon, but if you like my work and want to publish my works in your magazine, books or better if you want to publish a book of my works please make me very happy by contacting me. Or if you want to sell my works on commission basis only!! contact me, I will be quite relieved. Honestly writing and selling your own work is a very BORING combination. So you are more than welcome! Mail me, or go to- my blog (I have 16 blogs in wordpress, all active, some on daily basis, every one on weekly basis screaming and vowing my LOVE for writing and painting- this one is first-born, so special) (You will get the link to my remaining blogs there) or you can check out my ezines- monthly- And if you want fb you can go to my page, linkedin- my email id and I am in goodreads and completelynovel too I guess I said enough about myself, right? You will forget if I stuff too much here, so if you are curious to know this humble creature just join me in my blogs :)

  1. This are lovely Trisha. Golden Fairy and Light Path are my faves. BTW my PC has been giving me trouble as of late so I am not logged on enough for my liking…looks like a trip for a PC repair shop is in order!

  2. A wealth of wisdom and beauty in one small post, a reflection of its author. You are a crystal treasure, dear Trisha.

Happy Monday! Happy Potluck! and have a wonderful week.

  3. Your “Golden Fairy” is charming. I’m glad she stopped pouting and laughed.

Love your haiku and your paintings are wonderful as usual. I came looking for your flash fiction too–I guess not posted yet.

  4. Oh my dear dear Trisha… your potluck haiku on idols, role models and mentors is tooooo good!! It is simply perfect, girl!!
And I really loved your unchained spirit.. I would LOVE to identify myself with this dove…

And now, thank you for bringing to my attention the fact that you are unable to open my blog ! I have no idea of the possible reason though.. 😦 You could try my url with an https:// instead of just an http://…. I hope this works… Do let me know, sweetie..

    Many hugs!!

  5. Enjoyed the flash fiction, Trisha. I’m so glad you joined us and thanks to you it seems there’s more participants. I also liked the surprise ending and am glad the shopkeeper saved their little behinds. :0)
