I saw her

she
she

I saw her sitting
Alone in the park bench
Under the twin trees
One red the other golden
With falling leaves.

Her pretty face was beaming
Her eyes were lost in dream
Who was she thinking about
I longed to take a dive
In the pool of those dark eyes.

A bookworm transformed into an addicted writer. I love to write and illustrate them myself. By love I mean love, no half-hearted relationship, a full-fledged, passionate love, I can’t pass two days in a stretch without writing/painting (cyber), just feel empty like lovers do when their lovers are away on a tour! Even though I am thoroughly enjoying self-publishing with amazon, but if you like my work and want to publish my works in your magazine, books or better if you want to publish a book of my works please make me very happy by contacting me. Or if you want to sell my works on commission basis only!! contact me, I will be quite relieved. Honestly writing and selling your own work is a very BORING combination. So you are more than welcome! 1. The heart is open in Love as it swells
One sees this in another as it is well
To see such beauty under the tree
God made this moment special for me to see
It is in her eyes that attract to me so much
I can feel it in her depthness as this I touch

enjoy my Golden Lotus of God’s Love(+) 🙂

  2. You are one of the most imaginative writers I have come across. Your mind goes to corners that the normal mind will not go and you come back with messages that are thrilling. I enjoy those thrill each time I read from you. This was adorable and I loved how you closed the poem with these lines.

    “Who was she thinking about
I longed to take a dive
In the pool of those dark eyes.”

    Nice one Trish.

  3. Hello my friend. You never disapoint me, this poem is simply beautiful as always. I just love it and the last the lines are my favorite ones. It is 4:30 AM my time and I can’t sleep so wanted to drop in to say hi and I miss you.

Larry has cancer of the throat and the doctors are trying to find out how far it has spread, what kind it is, and if the cancer came from Agent Orange while he was serving in Vietnam. He can’t eat without chocking and if he does get it down he throws everything back up, including the Insure the nurses gives him. He is nothing but skin and bones now. If he don’t soon start holding something down they are going to feed him by a tube. Well my firend that is all I have to tell you right now. I miss everyone but there isn’t enough hours in a day to read and be with Larry and take care of my grandkids for Donna to go to school and work two days out of the week. I do have you all in my prayers and I think about all of you every day. Well I am going to get a cup of coffee so will keep in touch. God bless you Thrish.

    Love Viola

    1. dearest viola,
thats awful. I am really, really sorry to know that. I hope its just the early stage and it gets well- hope and pray every thing falls back to good. Please do let us know about the result of the tests.

      take care of yourself.
we all love you both very much.

  4. trisha, the symbolism in your poem is outstanding. The details in the first stanza paint a very telling mood of the woman in the park. Like the speaker of the poem, makes you wonder what she’s thinking in the second half. cheers 🙂
