Dawn has broken
Black sky has turned blue
Deepest shade of pure blue
Stars are twinkling softly.
Waiting for the sun to come
So they could rest for a while
Moon is still not sure
If she will return home.
Or wait and meet sun
To wish him goodbye
So she lingers in the sky
As birds sing, stars sparkle.
A beautiful silver maiden
Waiting for the Apollo
Soon he will show up
Riding his seven horse chariot.
A bookworm transformed into an addicted writer. I love to write and illustrate them myself. By love I mean love, no half-hearted relationship, a full-fledged, passionate love, I can’t pass two days in a stretch without writing/painting (cyber), just feel empty like lovers do when their lovers are away on a tour!
Even though I am thoroughly enjoying self-publishing with amazon, but if you like my work and want to publish my works in your magazine, books or better if you want to publish a book of my works please make me very happy by contacting me.

“Moon is still not sure

I really like this part because for the last several early mornings have watch the moon still visible in the predawn sky. It is a beautifully poetic way of expressing this delightful vision.
Peace,
Suzanne

Simply beautiful Trish, and you painted a perfect picture all through your poem. I love the way you open your poem with the first 4 lines. It is a strong poem with a good foundation.

This is delicate and sweet Trisha. I like it a lot. Lovely images of the shy moon holding back to maybe wish a hello to the sun. Nice
it really looks like that, as if she waits to see him before retiring to bed.

Loved the moon waiting for the sun bit.
Such a nicely written poem, capturing those finer things that otherwise just go unnoticed/unquestioned and hence unanswered…
Loved it! Keep them flowing..
