Sometimes I really feel like dropping on my knees and saluting the “moral polices”; I have always been their eyesore, even though I covered myself from feet to palms, baring only face, neck, feet and palms yet I was scorned upon because I always wore salwar suit, not the normal Bengali uniform (for women) sari.
Recently a police officer made a comment that women are provoking rape by wearing salwar suit.
Salute oh caveman dwelling inside a modern man.

This type of excuse used by some men has been out there for quite awhile and is pretty much found around the world…one judge is Cananda made a similar comment…it is very sad.
It is so easy to blame the victim, not the person initiating the action.
